Can you believe it? The Sims 4 is finally available for Macs! Getting the game up and running is simple, but there are just a few things you need to know. 

You see, the Mac version of The Sims 4 is currently only available in digital form. That means, if you recently went to the store to buy a physical copy, you won't be able to use that CD to install the game. Instead, you'll have to install Origin, and download the game from there. 
Origin or EA Desktop won't know you own the game. Make sure you're logging into the right EA Account with The Sims 4 on it so that you don't accidentally buy it again. Go to origin.com or the EA Desktop app. Hover over Browse Games then The Sims. Click on Build a The Sims 4 Bundle. You can't give a bundle as a gift. To get the new version of The Sims 3 for macOS, 64-bit, you will need to register your game with EA and download the 64-bit version of The Sims 3 from Origin. You can register your game and packs at www.thesims3.com by logging in with the same account you use with Origin ( EA Help ).
First, open up Safari or your web browser of choice and head to the origin.com/download page. Click on the tiny text that says 'Download for Mac' underneath the orange button. 
After installing and running the application, sign into Origin using your ID and Password. If you don't have an Origin account at this point, you'll have no choice but to create one.
If The Sims 4 doesn't appear within the 'My Games' tab, please do the following:
Open up the boxed copy of The Sims 4, and find the product code.
On Origin, click on 'Origin' in the top left corner and click on 'Redeem Product Code'
Type in the Product Code to download the game.

Click on The Sims 4.
Click on the Download button to start the installation.
EA is offering a free copy of Sims 4 for a limited time, the game is available for free download on PC and Mac OS till May 28, 2019. So this is your time to download a free copy of Sims 4 Standard Edition, also check the minimum system requirement to run Sims 4 on Windows. You will need Origins Client to download the free version of Sims 4.
